Things to see and do in Saint Lyphard during your stay
The town of Saint-Lyphard, in the Loire-Atlantique department, is located on the Guérande peninsula. This region has been awarded the “Ville d’art et d’histoire” label. Saint-Lyphard has many sites to explore, including the Kerbourg dolmen, an ancient covered dolmen listed as a Historic Monument. You can also visit the Mézerac menhir or the Gallo-Roman bridge at Gras. Saint-Lyphard is also home to Kerhinet, a typical Brière village. It is characterized by thatched houses restored by the Parc Naturel Régional de Brière.

Guided tours are offered by the La Baule tourist office. They are open all year round for groups, and on certain dates for individual bookings. You can discover the Brière from many angles by taking a boat or horse-drawn carriage ride to the port of Bréca or Pierre Fendue. The pink bell tower of Saint-Lyphard, 35 meters above the ground, offers visitors a uniquely beautiful view of the Brière marshes. Reservations can be made at the La Baule-Presqu’île de Guérande Tourist Office or by contacting the reception staff on site in Saint Lyphard.
